It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas

Just so you know the apple doesn't fall too far, I do have string holding up the Christmas tree! Also, I wasn't grumbling about the price but when dude told me $40 I did do a "whatcha hootcha watcha" or whatever it is Dad says, ha ha.

I will call Dad now and and tell him about the accommodations. It's funny how I have it all planned in my head but forgot to let him know. Scott, I know you and I had talked about you staying with us rather than Kisten's cousin's place but after seeing the house I've rented you should probably stay at Kirsten's cousins place. Our place is a little run down and I would feel better if the kids were in a cleaner space.

I already got dad a present so I won't be going in the pot. The other thing is we are celebrating Christmas with Dad on the 23rd so I would like to give him his gift then. Neil are you and Kirsten still planning to come up for that? If so it might be just the five of us but I am going to invite Linda and the kids too. I just need to know numbers so I can prepare food.

Karyne and I were at Philippes Christmas concert last week. I snapped a picture of a grade two class singing Mele Kalikimaka in french. I think the kids dressed in orange were suppose to be lobsters... enjoy...

Greeting from 7 Northview...

I'd like to note that Tam is going to purchase a new stand to fit the tree as opposed to scavenging through bookcases and shoes to find ropes and books to prop up her enormous tree. To this i say well done.

I just put up our christmas tree here in the living room. Sitting on a laptop listening to the flaming lips and bending the plastic branches of our fake tree by myself....ohhhhh nothing says Christmas quite like it hahah! But seriously, we are decorating the tree tonight, kerri is coming over as are keith and kirsten, should be fun. We got punched in the face this weekend with snow and sleet and rain, it was nasty and my morning was occupied with clearing it away from the driveway. Mom gets home this evening and things must be perfect.

What is a gift that dad is really in need of? Maybe we could pool a bit of cash and buy one big gift that he really needs, just a thought. Scott, Jamie, you two never invite me to a hockey game, what the hell? Just cause i'm6 provinces away doesen't mean i shouldn't be asked!

Kirsten is off getting her hair all done up, she is pretty pumped. We have SOOOOOOOOOOO much work left to to hahah, but it's all coming together. I can't wait to see everyone, it was nice to go tree shopping with tam, K and sir nicholas, broguht me back to the days of searching through St. John Vianys parking lot listening to dad grumble about the cost of each tree.

Miss and love you all,
Neil

Mele Kalikimaka!

Just bringing you all a friendly Hawaian greeting this Christmas season...although I am no where near Hawaii and it feels nothing like a tropical island up north here!

Hope everyone had a good weekend as we enter into this last week before the Christmas holiday...Scott it was a tough loss so I'm not offended if you are not as eager as the rest of us for Christmas...you just need a couple days to recover and get over the sensation of defeat!

Sounds like some plans are starting to shape up with regards to Christmas, accomodations, showers, parties, and weddings...and I couldn't be happier! Adam and I are going to Edmonton on Friday and I finally get to see what this West Edmonton Mall is all about...I'm just afraid I won't want to leave! J, I need some help to find out where things are geographically so we can get around easily...we are staying at the Best Western Westwood Inns....is that near the Holiday Inn Express? And is it close to the mall? We are taking red arrow and it drops us at the holiday in...we'll probably have to get a cab to our hotel but is it within walking distace to the mall? Adam was online and found this service called the "Skyline" and it supposedly is a shuttle that runs from the towntown hotels to the airport...are you familiar with this thing? We fly out at 12:50pm on Sunday afternoon...so what time should we leave for the airport? Anything we should try to take in while in the Edmonton area? Probably won't have a whole lot of time...we're going to spend the day at the mall and then I'd like to have a nice breakfast somewhere on Sun morning....so this isn't so much a blog posting as it is an itinerary!! sorry.

I talked to dad yesturday and he is still pretty concerned about where he is going to stay...someone should fill him in on the accomodations arrangements before he worries too much. Neil, dad has been trying to get a hold of you since October so you should either email him back or call him...he wants to know how the planning is coming and how your weekend was in montreal...give him the G rated version!

Alright, gotta run...lunch is over now....see you all soon...6 days!!

Love you all very much,
Beth

Tis the Season

Beth, did you get to the Oilers game?

I spoke with mom last night and told her about our plan for the food but not about the presents.
She was very touched and I could tell it definitely alleviated some stress. I asked her how she wanted us to do it and she asked that I collect the $25 from everyone over Christmas. She is going to pick up the items. I think that's a good idea and it keeps her busy. She is going to "Rob Peter to pay Paul” as she put it. She made it very clear though that she didn't want to be the one collecting the money, so I'll do it. I'll come around singing, "hands in your pockets, hands in your pocket” ha ha.
As for dad, I think he is ok for accommodations. Between Kirsten's cousins house and where I am staying he should be fine. I've also invited the MacPherson kids to crash at my place on New Years but if dad decides to stay he would still have his own room.

Neil dropped by last night for a surprise visit (very nice) and we went out to get a Christmas tree. We let Philippe (Karyne's nephew) pick it out. Let me tell you; this is the biggest Scotch Pine I’ve ever seen! We have to go out today and buy a new tree stand because ours won't fit!!
Thanks Neil for helping!

Love you guys, cant' wait till we're all in the same province again.

Tam :)

Not long now.Maybe I should buy a ticket.

I was hoping someone would go shopping and get all the supplies at once.Who ever went we could all just send the money to.
I think that Dad's living situation while in the Nish has been taken care of by Kirsten.
Beth,I think that you should come to Edmonton tonight.Scott and I are going to the Oilers/Canucks game and would love to have you join us! Game time is at 8.let us know if we should buy an extra ticket.

Santa's bringin cash this year!

I conquer with the pooling money idea...it's better than us all getting something that we don't necessarily need. As for the money to buy food...maybe we should do that in a slightly more organized way, instead of just giving mom the cash we can each take on a portion of the meal that is costly. Two ppl can go in together and get the turkey, someone buy the ham, and another 2 ppl cover the breakfast. Then it eliminates the exchange of money and it takes it off moms back to go and get all the stuff...which you know she is probably wanting to go and do now. All she'll have to cover are the potatoes, carrots, veggies, annd desert stuff. That works out to about 25$ each for the stuff we are covering and that still leaves 25$ for a special gift that we can get for one another...because you guys are definatly right about mom being upset if we don't get something for one another....and it could be nice to get a present that is less expensive but has some thought put into it.

As for dad, I too believe he may be being left out in the cold during all of this. I've been talking to him and he seems pretty concerned about where he is going to stay while in Antigonish for the wedding...maybe we can pool our money together and put him up somewhere while in the nish for 3 nights....it would probably make him feel a little more independant and would be one less concern for him around this xmas season....thoughts? It would probably work out to be about 60-70 bucks each...is that do-able?? And we could just book it and tell him that's where he's saying...no questions asked, it's just taken care of.

Those are just my thoughts...let me know what we think...if we all agree than we can go ahead and tell mom before she starts buying the groceries and stuff. J and Scott, what are you're plans for this weekend...you should come visit the fort...I know you've been missing it!

Love ya's
Beth

good plan.

Sounds like a good plan .Mom has my name and I've already asked her not to buy me anything.I asked her to take me to a movie while I'm home instead.
She will be disapointed though if none of us has anything to open Christmas day and she suddenly becomes the centre of attention. As much as she would aprieciate the gesture I think that she's looking forward to the escape.Maybe we should spend 25 on each other and 25 towards the food. That is still 125.00 for food.Shouldnt that be enough? We'll all still have gifts to open which should make mom feel better about the whole thing.
As far as Dad goes,I'm not sure what to think.I've been thinking about it ever since this has happened with mom and have yet to come up with anything. We should all get our thinking caps on to come up with something.

J.

thoughts

hey, i agree with tammy. Just to give everyone the heads up, this blog isn't known by anyone else so we can say whatever we want here and it's private. The reality of the situation is that mom is about 8 hundred short each month. This will be 500 in january when kirsten and i move in but she still remains 5 hundred down.

As for December, the mcleans and becca's family have pooled money and gave mom just over a $1000 for December. So, in addition to some money jamie gave to help out, December is fine it january on that is of greatest concern for mom and a commitment from us soon would help her be able to relax and focus on getting things with the lawyer sorted out.

Tammy mentioned something yesterday that i hadn't thought about and i don't know where i stand, that is about Dad in all of this. I think we're all set to help mom but we are leaving dad out in the cold. Thoughts?

Regardless, what can we all commit to mom in the long-term?
Miss you all and see you soon,
Neil

Christmas Presents

Hey Family,
Neil and I were chatting when I was in Antigonish yesterday and we want to throw something out there.
Our thought is to not buy each other any presents and instead pool the money together for mom. After meeting with the lawyer yesterday it hit me that she is in a tough financial situation (I know you guys aleady knew this and are probably saying "duh").
I propose that we each put $100 into a card for mom and then take the other $50 to spend on stuff that makes christmas like hot ham sandwhiches, snacks, big breakfast etc, christmas dinner. Stuff that mom would normally spend money on. What do you think?
Who does mom have for a present? THat person would be the only person to receive anything but maybe whoever that is can just ask mom to give them money and then we can add that to the pot?
We also know that she would be disappointed if we didn't have any presents to give each other so we were thinking that we could make something and wrap it. Sucks for whoever's name I have but Beth has my name and I know she is creative!
So let me know what you think. I know we are all procrastinators and probaby no one has any gifts bought yet anyway :)

Love you,
T :)

Those poor starving students!!!

Well I for one am happy that the poor starving students of St.(Cult)F.X. were able to pool their money and throw Neil a little bachelor party. We all know that when you are going to school it is hard to fulfill your needs of the basic necessities of life. This bunch however was able to look beyond that and scrape a few bucks together for a little party over 1200kms away. The most expensive drinks and strippers in the Country didn't faze them. Yes Neil you skirted around the stripper issue in your blog quite skillfully but I'm quite sure your buddies didn't drag you 1200+ kms to experience the history of old Montreal or to visit St. Joseph's Oratory. You made it sound pretty innocent but I think I speak for everyone when I say - Yeah Right.

I'm so impressed that you were able to find a little downtime in your busy schedule to make the trip.(By the way you can't kidnap the willing) I'm just wondering if Kirsten took the whole weekend off from wedding plans as well? Surely she wouldn't have been able to carry on without you - what with you guys splitting the workload so evenly.

Neil you should take a lesson from me I always do half the household/parenting work when I am in the same province as my family. I always "Do the right thing" I would never go to Montreal just to party. I always take the proper route in life. I would never go to the strip clubs. I would never drink or be silly. It's about time you grew up a bit, saved your money and started planning for my bachelor party in Montreal. After hearing about your bachelor party I decided I have to speed up my wedding plans and Montreal would be just great - unless we can pull off New York.

Love you all!!!
Scott - The most wholesome Stephen

Wedding Prep, Carollers and Crack Dog

Neil, I can’t believe your buddies took you to Montreal!! That’s awesome. I’m worried our stagette is going to pale in comparison. Beth, we’ll have to step it up! I still can’t believe that Kirsten wants 94 people at her bridal shower!!!! That’s hilarious!

Last night I was home alone when the doorbell rang. I opened it up to find 30 singing strangers all staring at me. They sang two songs it felt like it took foreeeeveerrr! Very nice though.

I think we are giving up Crack Dog, I mean Ace. He’s too much work and we don’t have the time he needs. If anyone knows of a good home let me know.

Ok, gotta jet. I’m Chair of the Sport Nova Scotia Christmas Party Committee and have a very important meeting to attend, ha ha! :)

Love you all!

Montreal calling and taking of it's clothes

The evening was cold and dark with harsh winds. Sheltered, indeed huddled under blankets and waves of heat and warmth was your youngest brother nestled deep in a sick laden sleep. To say being awoken and dragged to a rental car was odd would be an understatement.

Thursday night at around 11pm, i was kidnapped and driven through the night to Montreal for what turned out to be my bachelor party. We spent Friday drinking and eating and drinking and then heading out on the Montreal scene to find ourselves some trouble. We did and my captures wallets are all much lighter for having found it.

Saturday brought exploring, shopping, eating and then more drinking. Our evening ended with a drive across Montreal as the sun fought with dark clouds in an effort to rise over the sin filled city and wash it's inhabitants from their beer fulled stupor. My head hit the Sheraton pillow, 37 floors up, with a crash only to be woken 3 hours later to begin the 14 hour drive back to Antigonish.

13 days and counting!

Good Morning All,

Hey guys, the countdown is on! We are under 2 weeks away from being home and could not be more excited! You really don't appreciate home until you go way for a little while. Both Adam and I can't wait to see you all and share in some celebrations!

Talk about being sentimental, I have never been overly emotional or sentimental before in my life but I have a new found appreciaion for actually spending time and getting in touch with "feelings." It's almost a foriegn word to me but being out here has helped me grow a lot. So Tammy I can see why you feel the way you so about your friend. I am so sorry to hear about that bad news. Just goes to show that we have to live each day to the fullest. That's something that Adama and I are starting to recognize while being out here. As much as we wanted to be home and with our family we realized we can't wish our life away while we're out here. That's sort of what we did for the first little while out here...everything was in anticipation of going home instead of just living each day reagardless where we are. Good thing we realized it now though or before we knew it we'd be through our first year together without even knowing where it went. I recognize it so it's ok to be doing a countdown for home!!! hahah

Alright, that's my Dr. Phil moment for the month! No but really, I miss you guys a lot and can't wait to spend christamas and the wedding together. You can't replace that family time...it's very special.

As for the weekend. We finally won our first game! We finished 5th in the tournament...lost our first 2 games and then won the last one. We've come a long way though...some serious improvements...We play this Wednesday and that it our first league game so we'll see how that goes..I am not predicting a win but it should be a lot closer than the last time we played them...I think we lost by 25 or 30 them last week....I am hoping to keep it within 10 this week...if we don't win I mean!

Alright, better get going here..I always spend my first hour of the day checking mail and blogs and my hour is up...so it's go time! Love you guys...Neils' getting hitched in t minus 21 days!! go Neilster!

Love B dot

My Family is Funny!

You guys are waaaaay too funny! I’m not even going to try and compete with that. However, according to all your theories I get picked up and driven home AND the after party is stumbling distance to my place so I’m not complaining!
Now tell me Ms Elizabeth, what’s wrong with my dancing? I was at the Country Meadows Golf Club party in Moncton on Saturday night where I found myself surrounded by seven 65+ men dancing to the likes of Roy Orbinson, The Supremes and Chuck Berry. Needless to say I never felt more at home and was just getting warmed up for Dec 31!

Beth, how did your tournament go? Thanks for the clarification on the wedding rehearsal.

Neil, are you and or Kirsten coming to Hali any time soon?

I’m feeling kind of sentimental this morning and received bad news on the weekend of a friend who is now in the 3rd or four stages of ovarian cancer (detected too late). So I just wanted to tell you all that I love you very much and I’m always happy and thankful when I think of how fortunate I am to be in this special group of siblings who love so unconditionally. You guys rock!

J and Scott...game tonight is at 9:45pm

I'm not sure if you're going to be able to make it to the game tonight in St. Paul but if you are planning on coming we play at 9:45pm and then at 8:30 am the next morning...you can stay with me in my hotel...Adam's not coming anymore...so there will be plenty of room..

Hope to see you there.
Love ya's

Chocolate drop cookies, Pizza and Beer.

The rehearsal is on the 29th. It starts at 6pm so things should get going around 6:30, unless of course mom gets here way and we all go to Saturday night mass at 5pm directly before the rehearsal. Eaither way, the awkward walk-through of how i'll give away my freedom shouldn't last more than an hour and then it's off to Kirsten's house in Pleasant Valley.

Boston Pizza, tons of beer and liquor get things moving and dessert for the evening is moms gewy chocolate drop cookies.

FOR THE RECORD, I will probably end up fifth. However, If you'd like for me to end up spooning with the big boys, someone will need to be in charge of keeping my cup hand full of beer as getting to the bar may be an obstacle course tougher than the original gladiators.

Additionally, the wedding is on NewYears, meaning the bar at the wedding is open until2 and the pub is open until 3. After which is an afterparty close to where tam is staying.

Here is a picture of the Tuxes for the groomsmen. I like them, jamie, i'm sure there is a wise-crack out there somewhere, but you'll be the one wearing it so best not to make fun of yourself!

It's boring and lonely here in Antigonish, it's been snowing like crazy and it looks like we'll be having a white Christmas and wedding. Working on choosing the readings etc. and will soon have to make a seating chart.

I miss you all, looking forward to x-mas and the wedding,
Love you,
Neil

Slow and steady wins the race

I just got to work and logged onto the blog and started my day with a lot of laughter...thanks guys, great way to start out the day.

As for your predictions, I couldn't agree more with a few of them. However, the suggestion that I would come in second last is ridiculous. I am a strong believer that slow and steady will win the race. I may have had a little break from drinking since I got out here but if you think that Adam and I are going to show up at that wedding without a little practice...you obviously don't know us too well! We are going to work at this a little each day and by the time the 31st rolls around we will be ready to close the place down. Here is how I believe the night will unfold:

Upon arrival at the reception Jamie will be on the prowl ...what's that male version of a "cougar" called? haha... Once realizing there is no one suitable on the scene he will recruit Scott to join him for a beverage. Twisting his arm, Scott will comply, and one drink will quickly lead to 4 or 5.

By this time Adam and I will be taking a short break because we have already put away too much during the dinner and would rather dance some of it off. Tammy of course joins us on the dance floor because when it comes to drinking or dancing...well, she likes both..so she'lll have a drink in one hand and she'll be breaking it down with the other...oh how I love to watch Tammy dance!

Once round 2 starts for Adam and I, Scott and Jamie are already well on their way to being the children mom denies are hers to friends and family.....and they start in on their sacrastic banter that will undoubtedly come my way. We all meet at the bar...minus Neil (he's busy, schmoozing the guests) and have a toast to the youngest sibling getting hitched and proceed to find other things to toast about...I'll leave that one to your imagination...you know we're gonna do it!

I beleive the night will end however, in an unpredictable manner. Although we will have the best of intentions of getting to the pub for a few more drinks and one last dance...that will not be what the future holds for us......It will be snowing no doubt, and walking in the snow might mess up jamie's hair, therefore we will wait for a cab....after about 5-10 minutes Scott and I get considerably inpatient and convince the rest to walk..."common, it's like a 2 minutes walk, Jamie you can have my jacket" Scott says. Jamie takes the jacket and we all start walking to the bar.
To say it would be Jamie that starts the snow fight would be unfair because really it could be any of us that would start that sort of trouble in dresses and suits but one of us for sure will think it to be just hilarious to pile snow down someones back...and then it will be on....5 drunk ass people catching hypothermia (on purpose) in the middle of the street.

Eventually, the fun will subside and the realization of the cold will set in. At about that time Adam and I will go back to get the cab that is still waiting for us...Karen will pull up in the van that she has been sleeping in for the better part of the night and picks up Tammy....thus leaving Scott and Jamie passed out face down in the snow for the night...however, Scott gets the hypothermia because Jamie is toasty warm in Scotts jacket all night long!!!

Alright, well I gotta run...just wanted to provide my prediction for the night....can't wait..we're gonna have a ball...

love ya's
Beth

ps..Tammy, I think the rehearsal is on the 29th...that's the last date that I heard...its that right neil? Any predictions for the reheasal night!!!

What's wrong with the Lawn?

I think the lawn would be a wonderful way to sleep off what I'm sure will be a messy messy evening. (Neil don't worry we will embarress you and I'm sure there will be pictures) I would have to think the lawn beats the floor at St. Elizabeth Seton, it beats the cold floor of the garage at 7 polara, it beats the cold floor of 1975 Gottingen Street, (some of you may have been there before too) it beats the kitchen floor when Mom's relatives are still in the kitchen, it beats the C-Train in Calgary when you end up in the wrong part of town and I'm sure it beats the middle of the Palace or Jerry's Pub. Since Linda has already written me off saying "Once you start having fun I won't see you until the morning" and an offer of a beautiful lawn to crash on. Well I think you see where I'm going with this - count me in J (You do like a little spooning don't you?)

Love you all!!!

Scott.

2nd is only the first loser!

I am begining to see a trend here and let me say a very sad truth.I will be the drunkest sibling at the wedding. This we already know,my question is who is going to try to keep up with me? Who will be waking up beside me naked with hypothermia on some strangers lawn the first day of 2008?I can't think of a better way to kick off the year.I mean I'm the only one coming alone so this automatically means,no one to look bad in front of and more importantly no one to stop me! This is my question to the rest of you....... WHO WILL BE SECOND?
My money is on Scott.Followed closely by Tammy, then Beth ann and finally the Neilster picking up he rear.Heres my reasoning.

Scott will be excited to be home after being away for the 2 months leading up to the wedding. This will lead to a minamul consumption of alcohol until around 9 pm when he starts to think,'' hey the kids are going to bed.''His thoughts will then lead to'' Linda has seen everything and is still here''.He'll then think twice about it when he remembers that he may have to go to New Years day mass tomorrow, but then quickly buries that supressed memory and wonders why he was having second thoughts? This will promply lead to a '' Hey J, Should we start making them doubles?!!'' When I of course say, ''Yes Of course!''. This will undoubtedly be the point where the wheels start to fall off and 6 hours later we are found on the neighbours lawn.

Tammy after being ''responsible'' all night will start to feel that being responsible all night is not what it's cracked up to be and that being in the wedding party gives here the right to let her hair down tonight. She says to her self ''My youngest brother only gets married once, why remember it? I'm sure there will be lots of pictures.''By this time Karen has consumed presumably at least a half bottle of 11 dollar wine and has passed out in the nearest mini van. This leaves the door wide open for Tam to walk right through.Upon the conclusion of this thought Tam hears in the distance,'' Hey J, Should we start making them doubles?'' and is pulled to the sound like a moth to a bright light. She is intrigued by the question. ''Doubles?'' she thinks, then finds herself at the bar, unsure of just how she got there. She then goes on to tell Scott and I how she could drink us both under the table which is ironic because after two doubles thats just where she ends up.Karen at this point wakes up feeling rested and curious as to what trouble Tammy has tried to get into.It only takes her 3 mins of looking under tables to find Tammy passed out and full of vomit. She then orders a cab back to their place, saving Tam from a date with hypothermia and the neighbours lawn.

Elizabeth goes into the night with the intentions of getting completly hammered because '' I wasnt able to drink at my wedding and I'm married now so I know hes not going any where''.
While her intensions are pure she forgets that shes been in Alberta for the past 5 months and during that time the most alcohol she's consumed was when I came to visit and that was only a few coconut rum and pineapple juice.
She's the first at the bar and makes sure everyone knows by saying out loud. '' I'm the first at the bar wo-who!!'', '' I can't believe I beat you to the bar J,ha ha ''This is the point where Adam leans in and says to her. ''You havent drank in a while Beth, becareful''.Coincidently this is the same point where Beths competitive side rears it's ugly head. She starts thinking about that post Jamie made saying that she would only be the 4th drunkest at the party.''I'll show them that I can go until the end''.Unfortunatly she can't make it to the end and while Scott and I are on the dance floor at the pub Adam is busy holding back her hair in the bathroom at 7 North View Dr.

Finally, Neil. Well it's your first night of marriage and ''you'll do what ever your told to do!''

This is only the way I see things shaking out.If any of you have a different views of just how the night will unfold please feel free to share your thoughts.

I miss you all and can't wait for Christmas, take care! love ya!

Are we getting too busy to procrastinate or something?

Hey Guys,

The frequency of our postings are beginning to slow down a bit here...are we getting to busy to procrastinate a little at work or something? I mean, I know I can always find time to put work off for another while so I don't see the harm in you guys doing the same!

How is everyone doing....we are quickly apprching xmas and the wedding and I can not wait..I am getting so excited, I really can't wait to be back on NS ground and to be with family. Speaking of family...boys are you going to be able to make it to St. Paul this weekend? If you're in the mood for a good laugh then I strongly suggest you come to our tournament and see me team play! We played our first pre-season game last night and got pounded..22-48...we could only score 8 pts in the second half. We really have no one who can play..no one who even knows some basics...it's funny to watch..even from a coaches perspective! Just let me know...I will try and give you guys a call tonight when I get home from our game (we play again this afternoon, so that should be interesting).

Has anyone been talking to dad lately. I have tried calling him a few times this week but he never answers his cell phone..jsut wanna make sure everything is alright with him.

Tammy, instead of a whipper snipper, what would you like for xmas? Adam and I will be in Edmonton the weekend of the 21-23 adn are going to do the majority of our shopping then so let me know what's up and what you want....as for the stockings everyone I will get the list from mom tonight and let you know on here tomorrow...I meant to do that earlier but forgot.

Other than that things are pretty much cold and christmasy up here. Adam and I put up our xmas tree on the weekend...we had the Bing Crosby going and some snacks...so ow I'm really getting anxious for xmas to arrive.

Alright, enough procrastination for now...talk to you all soon.

Love ya's
Beth

For love of pictures and candy

I now have a new gingerbread laden desktop image of my two favorite nieces.(editors note, while neil only has 2 nieces, if he had more, the aforementioned 2 would still be his favorite)

thanks tam for uploading those shots i loved them! So, not too much is new in my world, i'm done my office hours for the 1st semester which means i can now relax a bit and focus on other things. I'd also like to mention that JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!

I put up the x-mas decorations outside yesterday, got the jesus sign, lights etc. all up and running. Had to wait until a snowstorm to get the interest to go and do it, what is wrong with our family? We can't do anything when it's nice and sunny out, we need to wait until it's storming or raining or in mom's case, 4 in the morning.

Ironing out the final details on the wedding, choosing reading etc. You'll all be getting a little binder when you arrive in town with everything you need to know. ALSO, whoever got mom to change up the stockings sucks! Now the couples have these damn massive things and me and jamie are left with these jokes of a stocking. Beth: i saw some of the stuff mom is putting in yours......ouch hahahahah!

StFX passed the $5000 dollar make for the spread the net campaign. www.spreadthenet.org
check it out, we are second to Carleton University in Ottawa, with 22 thousand students!

Anyhow, love you all,
take care,
Neil
